Anotace

Český překlad anotace včetně obsahu kurzu bude doplněn. Anglickou anotaci naleznete níže.

Emotionally distressed children and adolescents reflect the crises of recent years. Against the backdrop of the consequences of neglect and physical or verbal abuse, many often struggle to accept or reciprocate offers of connection. Much of this depends on their memories, which trigger immediate physical sensations.

Feeling-Seen® focuses on these memories in order to supplement them. In the presence of the parents, attachment-oriented and mentalization-promoting interventions are employed, utilizing the body as a stage for new experiences. This enables parents to resonate with their child. These changes lay the foundation for intensive parent-focused work, which is also demonstrated.

The approach will be practically demonstrated with the help of examples and roleplay szenen.

Contents

  • Interactionist developmental theories
  • Mentalization-promoting stance and communication
  • Analysis of the child’s facial expressions and voice
  • The significance of automatic memory processes for current perception and their impact on present-moment awareness
  • Reconsolidation of distressing memories using imagery techniques and tailored body based interventions e.g., in cases of trauma, separation, divorce, or loss
